Did you see my skulls?

05-05-2015

My Case's Cases page was a bit lacking in horror. It didn't even have a description for the series! That was... nope. I did a thing with some skulls and some bricks and tiled it. The skull is a photograph of a plastic skull. I airbrushed a line down the middle. It was left behind when the skull was molded. I also airbrushed the front teeth because they looked like molars! Now, they look like incisors and canines like they're supposed to.

The "bricks" and the "shelves" are selections turned into paths. I filled them with textures and laid gradients and solids on top of them. The "shadows" by the uprights are circular selections with feathering filled in black. I made the tile in Gimp, in case you couldn't tell. You can view my new Case's Cases page here. I plan on working on my Hailey's Follies page soon. Book two of that series is FINALLY in the works! It's codenamed "Just a Date." That may change. I'm not sure, yet. I've changed it so many times.

Check out Case's Cases while you're not doing anything. And, keep checking in. Book three of that series is almost complete. It turned out much differently than I thought. The original design called for fifteen chapters and a moderate plot with lots of descriptive writing. It's now scheduled for ten chapters, and it's filled with mysterious, wicked insanity! Mwuh! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! It's much more suspenseful and twisted than I ever could've hoped. Hopefully, I'll finish it soon.
